Shining a light on the workplace inspiring change

Support

The aim of SOS is to address the growing issue of modern slavery in the workplace. We believe that providing organisations with a visible certification confirming that processes are compliant with modern slavery requirements offers reassurance to clients and employees of those organisations. Our goal is to ensure that the certification, in common with others, becomes a recognisable assurance of responsible practice.

The process of engaging SOS is very straightforward. Any company or other organisation that wants to be able to reassure customers and employees that, to the best of their knowledge and ability, their workforce and supply chains are free of exploitation can simply register with us via our web site.

SOS, once appointed, will review direct and sub-contracted labour arrangements and will provide training opportunities to management and staff, in conjunction with our ongoing awareness campaigns.

If the review identifies suspected modern slavery indicators or potential vulnerabilities, SOS will signpost you to appropriate remedial action and sources of additional support.

On successful completion of a review,  which is designed to be easy to follow, SOS will issue a Stamp Out Slavery certificate for you to download and use on your website, email footers and letterhead for the following twelve months.

As your renewal date approaches, SOS will contact you to make arrangements for a new annual review.

SOS donates 20% of fees received from these services to its nominated Charity of the Year, Unseen.
